Training Delivery
Part theory with mostly practical training
Training includes pre use checks, safe operation of the forklift, site specific hazards and as many real world lifts/tasks performed in the workplace as time and machine capability allows
We aim to give each trainee the skills, knowledge and practical time required for them to be a confident & safe operator

​On site requirements
Suitable training areas free from interruptions - a room/area to complete theory parts,
practical training area, a counter balance forklift truck with current valid LOLER examination report
Course Duration
To meet experience of the trainee and group size, ensuring sufficient time for quality training and full compliance with recommended durations as set by national guidance
Refresher =
Experienced Operator who has previously completed formal training
Experienced =
Has experience of using forklifts but has not received formal training. or has training and experience in use of other machinery/equipment, such as Recovery Vehicles, Lorry Loader Cranes.. Contact us to confirm
Novice =
Has no previous experience or training in FLT operation or similar equipment / machinery
Certification & Standards

100% Legally Compliant Training and Certification: Our training delivery and certification satisfy all legal requirements for workplace forklift training, specifically the Health & Safety at work act 1974, PUWER, and LOLER regulations. Training adheres to the HSE L117 Approved Code of Practice (guidance for Rider-operated lift trucks Operator training and safe use) and is built on the testing frameworks of the ABA (Accrediting Bodies Association), the UK organisation that sets the unified safety standards for workplace transport. Commercial body endorsement of training is voluntary, not mandatory under H&S law and not a legal requirement. On successful course completion formal operator certification is issued fully compliant with all relevant statutory health & safety requirements

Proven Instructor Competence: We have held forklift training provider registration under the RTITB. Our instructor has been a registered, authorised forklift trainer delivering training to ABA/RTITB standards for 5 years, We currently operate independently of voluntary commercial forklift training schemes, you receive fully compliant training to the same or higher standard without third-party database fees. We hold extensive qualifications and experience delivering diverse plant, machinery, and equipment training to satisfy all Health & Safety at Work statutory duties (see 'About Us' for details).
