The 'Core Modules' include the essential Health & Safety, Customer Service and Roadside Assessment practical skills and knowledge which are required for anyone working in any vehicle breakdown assistance or recovery role.

On successful completion of this course certificates are provided and the candidate will become a registered roadside technician, accredited/recognized by the IVR (Institute of Vehicle Recovery), National Highways Sector Scheme NHSS 17/17(b), PAS 43 and HSE (Health & Safety Executive)

VR 02 - Customer Service   
VR 03 - Roadside Assessment


Topics covered include 
Correct approach, parking and safety precautions at the scene 
Roadside / Recovery H&S law and best practice guidance
Risk Assessment
Duty of care
Correct procedures including, dual carriage ways, smart motorways...
Working with other professionals on scene (Poilce, Highways..)

Customer Service & Safety

VR01, 02, 03 = 2 Day Course 
(Day 1 Classroom - Day 2 Classroom/Outside Practical)

This course can also count towards Driver CPC training hours if requested at time of booking.

No prior knowledge or experience is required

Option to complete a 1 day course to cover VR03 Roadside Assessment only
if you feel that meets your needs - certain contract/work providers and audits will require the full 2 day course)
