VR27a - Level 1 Course 

Gives an understanding of the specific requirements for the safe handling of electric and hybrid vehicles during breakdown assistance, transportation/recovery and minor repairs at the roadside

VR27b - Level 2 Course 

Gives an understanding of the specific requirements for the safe handling of electric and hybrid vehicles during breakdown assistance, transportation/recovery and minor repairs at the roadside, This level 2 course includes a practical exercise to cover the procedures involved in loading/unloading a Hybrid/Electric vehicle onto a recovery vehicle/transporter.

VR27c - Level 3 Course 

Gives an understanding of the specific requirements for the safe handling of electric and hybrid vehicles during breakdown assistance, transportation/recovery and minor repairs at the roadside, This level 3 course includes a practical exercise of the physical isolation/reinstatement of the high voltage system

     

  • Course costs vary with course type & location

  • All options come with Certification by the IVR

        (Institute of Vehicle Recovery) to meet national compliance standards

  • 7 DCPC (Driver CPC) hours can be claimed from 7 hour courses if requested when booking - a DVSA/IVR Charge of £30pp applies

On successful completion of this course, certificates are provided  accredited/recognized by the IVR (Institute of Vehicle Recovery), NHSS 17/17(b) & PAS 43.
